Venous Insufficiency

Definition: Inadequacy of the venous valves and impairment of venous return (venous stasis) usually from the legs, often with edema and sometimes with stasis ulcers at the ankle.
Notes: GEN or unspecified but usually of the legs; coord IM with specific vein (IM) or organ /blood supply (IM) if pertinent
