Aortic Arch Syndromes - Any of a group of disorders leading to occlusion of the arteries arising from the aortic arch. Such occlusion may be caused by atherosclerosis, arterial embolism, syphilitic or tuberculous arteritis, etc. (Dorland, 27th ed) |

Aortitis - Inflammation of the wall of the aorta. |

Leriche's Syndrome - A syndrome caused by obstruction of the terminal aorta. It usually occurs in males and is characterized by fatigue in the hips, thighs, or calves on exercising, absence of pulsation in the femoral arteries, impotence, and often pallor and coldness of the lower limbs.
