Ureteral Diseases

Definition:
Notes: do not confuse with URETHRAL DISEASES, espec in Romance lang: urétéral (French), ureteral (Span), ureterale (Ital) = "ureteral", while urétral (French), uretral (Span), uretrale (Ital) = "urethral"

Ureteral Diseases Categories.
Ureteral Calculi - Calculi of the ureter, usually the result of the passage of one originating in the kidney. It occurs usually in mid-life, rarely in children; and is more frequent in males than females. (From CMIT, 5th ed)
Ureteral Obstruction
Ureterocele - Cystic dilatation of the ureter with ballooning of the ureteral orifice into the lumen of the bladder.
