Definition: The science of soil cultivation, crop production, and livestock raising.

Agriculture Categories.
Animal Husbandry - The science of breeding, feeding and care of domestic animals; includes housing and nutrition.
Aquaculture - Cultivation of natural faunal resources of water. (McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Scientific and Technical Terms, 4th ed)
Dairying
Hydroponics - A technique for growing plants in culture solutions rather than in soil. The roots are immersed in an aerated solution containing the correct proportions of essential mineral salts. (From Concise Dictionary of Biology, 1990)
