Joints Categories.

	Acromioclavicular Joint - The gliding joint formed by the outer extremity of the CLAVICLE and the inner margin of the acromion process of the SCAPULA.
	Atlanto-Axial Joint - The joint involving the atlas and axis bones.
	Atlanto-Occipital Joint
	Bursa, Synovial
	Elbow Joint - A hinge joint connecting the FOREARM to the ARM.
	Finger Joint
	Foot Joints - The articulations extending from the ANKLE distally to the TOES. These include the ANKLE JOINT; TARSAL JOINTS; METATARSOPHALANGEAL JOINT; and TOE JOINT.
	Hip Joint
	Joint Capsule - The sac enclosing a joint. It is composed of an outer fibrous articular capsule and an inner SYNOVIAL MEMBRANE.
	Knee Joint
	Pubic Symphysis
	Sacroiliac Joint - The immovable joint formed by the lateral surfaces of the SACRUM and ILIUM.
	Shoulder Joint
	Sternoclavicular Joint
	Sternocostal Joints
	Temporomandibular Joint - An articulation between the condyle of the mandible and the articular tubercle of the temporal bone.
	Wrist Joint
	Zygapophyseal Joint - The joint that occurs between facets of the interior and superior articular processes of adjacent vertebra.
