Absorptiometry, Photon

Definition: A noninvasive method for quantitating bone mineral content. It is used especially in the diagnosis of osteoporosis and also in measuring bone mineralization in infants.
Notes: NIM; measures bone mineral content; do not use /util except by MeSH definition
