A potentially life-threatening condition in which the embryo implants outside the uterine endometrial cavity. Most ectopic pregnancies (>96%) occur in the fallopian tube (PREGNANCY, TUBAL), but they can be in the uterine cornua, cervix, ovary, and abdominal cavity (PREGNANCY, ABDOMINAL). |
