Definition:	A pathological condition manifested as a pouch or sac opening from a tubular or sacular organ.

Diverticulum Categories.

	Diverticulum, Colon - A pouch or sac opening from the COLON.
	Diverticulum, Esophageal - Saccular protrusion beyond the wall of the ESOPHAGUS.
	Diverticulum, Stomach - Saccular, outward protrusion of all or a portion of the wall of the STOMACH.
