Laser Coagulation

Definition: The coagulation of tissues using lasers. These lasers produce light in the visible green wavelength that is selectively absorbed by hemoglobin, and thus it is possible to seal bleeding blood vessels.
Notes: do not confuse with LIGHT COAGULATION or with LASER SURGERY; do not use /util except by MeSH definition; coord IM with Cat A or C term with /surg; DF: LASER COAG
