Health Physics - The science concerned with problems of radiation protection relevant to reducing or preventing radiation exposure, and the effects of ionizing radiation on humans and their environment. |

Sanitary Engineering - A branch of engineering concerned with the design, construction, and maintenance of environmental facilities conducive to public health, such as water supply and waste disposal. |

Sanitation - The development and establishment of environmental conditions favorable to the health of the public. |
