Human Activities

Definition: Activities performed by humans.

Human Activities Categories.
Automobile Driving - The effect of environmental or physiological factors on the driver and driving ability. Included are driving fatigue, and the effect of drugs, disease, and physical disabilities on driving.
Leisure Activities - Voluntary use of free time for activities outside the daily routine.
Nudism - The practice of living unclothed for reasons of comfort or health.
Physical Fitness - A state of well-being in which performance is optimal, often as a result of physical conditioning which may be prescribed for disease therapy.
Retirement - The state of being retired from one's position or occupation.
Survival - Continuance of life or existence especially under adverse conditions; includes methods and philosophy of survival.
Temperance - Abstinence from alcohol.
Travel - Aspects of health and disease related to travel. It includes the physiologic and psychologic beneficial or adverse effects of travel in general or with regard to specific diseases. It includes also emporiatrics, the specialty devoted to the medical aspects of travel. It excludes study tours.
Work - Productive or purposeful activities.
