Definition: Diseases of animals within the order PRIMATES. This term includes diseases of Haplorhini and Strepsirhini.

Primate Diseases Categories.
Ape Diseases - Diseases of apes (PONGIDAE). This term includes diseases of chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans.
Monkey Diseases - Diseases of Old World and New World monkeys. This term includes diseases of baboons but not of chimpanzees or gorillas (= APE DISEASES).
